John Stowell & Jamie Taylor - I Should Care
Footage of John and I rehearsing for a weekend of gigs and teaching together in the North of England, 14-17 Oct 2022. We start here with a bit of improvised counterpoint, then a solo chorus each, followed by a statement of the written theme at the very end. We have a bit of live footage from the trip as well, which I hope to share at some point. Although John and I have been friends for several years, this was some of the first face-to-face playing we've managed to do. Prior to that, we were trading choruses on different continents over a Zoom connection. Better than nothing, obviously, but nowhere near as much fun as this was!

Alfie - Jamie Taylor solo guitar
A solo rendition at home of the Bacharach/David classic. When I did this I hadn't seen John Scofield's amazing lockdown video where he played it on acoustic; total co-incidence. In fact, the real inspiration was one of my students who brought this tune to a lesson, and reminded me what a lovely one it is. Thanks Ben!
